This latest vile lie and lame attempt to defuse the blame (the “fact-checker” indeed!) clearly shows the depths to which this administration is willing to sink. A small child is humiliated, just so Bush’s fat cat friends can line their pockets!

It’s an example of reductio ad absurdum.

You’ll all notice he didn’t apologise either.
But what he actually meant when he said “six” is that he was six. Past tense. At no time did he mean to imply that this was his current age and anyone who inferred this would have been very much mistaken and at fault.
Of course, the absence of any other siblings piping up to admit that they were once six means that none of them ever could have been. In a related bombshell, the parents have asserted that they’re not going to question the kids on the matter.
Bricker, did you not get the memo? Did you maybe miss the fact that our country is at war?
Jesus Christ! Why don’t you just join the Ba’ath party while you’re at it, if you’re going to be questioning our president at a time like this?
This isn’t a time for Americans to be criticizing our leaders. This is a time for us to get behind the president, no matter how malicious, dishonest, or just plain stupid he may be.
Open your mouth again like that and you can expect an FBI investigation.

It was an actual story on the front page of cnn.com recently, maybe yesterday. I read it and thought “WTF makes this a story, let alone a front page story?” myself.
Althought the title makes it look like that old pesky liberal media bias, the story itself seems to be an attempt to humanize W and show him to be a humorous guy.
No doubt it will satisy anybody looking for either liberal or conservative media bias.
But the OP was a funny jab at Reeder, I thought.
