I for one welcome our new robot overlords, with their 1920’s style deathrays.

Something’s wrong here… it’s the GOOD guys who are supposed to be heroically resisting the robot army invasion.
I’m for it. Might save a few lives on both sides if used properly. It could be used to clear out pockets of enemy resistance without putting troops “on point” as it were, and it could allow our troops to deal a little more judiciously with situations where terrorists are concealed among civilians. At least, that’s my hope.

Or it could persuade the Iraqis that we lack resolve, & are weakening.
Different culture, man.

I was thinking more along the lines of this .
It’s a sad, sad world where unleashing an unstoppable robot army loses all it’s magic.
Crap…forgot to type “and wonderment” to that last sentance. Which, of course, makes all the difference.
That’s awesome. Instead of bombing and shooting them, we have robots go in and push them down the stairs.

Oooh, great reference to this classic .
Bonus points for what movie showed that scene. Hint: it was in a prison.
