I found a few for Bush and a couple for Blair. But I was unsuccessful finding the same style of thing with Hillary Clinton, for example. I did find clips of her with other people singing, but nothing where her own words and voice were cut together into a song.
Well, it seems pretty clear that these were pulled from major addresses–like the State of the Union. Despite the campaigns yielding some long speeches from both Obama and H.Clinton, there still may not be as diverse an amount of speaking material to pull from yet.
Wait until Obama becomes POTUS, though–I can imagine there’ll be a ton then (and with a lot more soul)!
There’s this video that went around a few months ago, starring Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in a takeoff on the Sarah Silverman video “I’m f*cking Matt Damon.”
I’m impressed with the Bush clip. It really works as a piece, I think. Someone obviously put more thought into its production than “heh heh this would be cool”.
There was a video from years and years ago I found that had Bush and Blair singing to each other. It didn’t use voice clips, just video clips to lip-sync with the song. I forget what song it was, it was some kind of love song with a female vocalist.
