Back on May 24th, Bush gave the first of what was to be a series of speeches leading up to the June 30 power transfer in Iraq. The White House made a lot of noise about these, but since I saw the first speech broadcast live on the local NBC station, I’ve heard nothing. Are the speeches just not being covered? Or were they called off?
