I’ve discovered this thread and in accordance with the rule banning bumps I will use this thread to make a few comments.

First of all I find a lot of the blatant liberal bias annoying-it was even worse than from that thread. That said quite a few people did predict Iraq War to be next, although obviously the reason wasn’t so much because “Bush Sr. was humiliated”. I find those predicting the US would be isolationist to be quite ironic.

I found it mildly amusing that some people predicted he’d attack a university in New York, presumably as a Yalie prank.

Better their Columbia than ours. The smoke from the fires would obstruct my view of Venus.

Never mind; one shouldn’t flog a dead horse. Or at least i shouldn’t. But everyone else may flog all the dead horses they wish. I try to be fair minded, even when I feel as rotten as I do today. I think I have the flu or maybe a bunch of dead horses are flogging me. I do wish they would stop, if that’s the case.
