but-tur-cup, geet outoffmy la-bore-a-tore-y!

here it is. the ultimate battle between intellect and cuteness. who will win? Dexter or the PPGirls? i’m going to vote for Dexter, mostly because i like him more. not sound reasoning, i’ll admit. Dexter’s got the robots and the zillions of minions. but the PPGs have the super powers. also, i think Dexter is more mature, so perhaps he’d make better decisions.

also, which is the better cartoon? i adore them both, but once again, Dexter is so much better. he’s just a better character.

ok. who will win? whose cuisine will reign sup. . . oh sorry. wrong channel.

Dex. He capitolizes appropriately.

Actually, I don’t care. I just felt oddly compelled to reply to racerx’s thread.

I seem to recall a bit–not a full cartoon, just a little between-show segment–showing this battle. I think it was a draw, á la the Superman vs. Flash races, only sillier. Maybe Deedee settled it? Does anyone else remember this?

If the thread is still alive this evening, I’ll call my niece and nephew. They’d know if anyone would, little eidetic cartoon-freaks that they are.

PPG, definately. They’ve already shown they’re mettle against inventor geniuses (Mojo Jojo).

I think Dex is smart enough to counteract the effects of Chemical X. Or he could make his own PPGs to fight the original PPGs. I’m sure he has some Chemical X of his own to mess with. Maybe he’d even add some Chemical Y to give his PPGs the advantage.

Sorry, c_goat, Mojo tried those methods already. If you get a chance, check out the episode “Rowdy Rough Boys.”

Please. Dex’s equipment can’t stand up to Dee Dee, let alone people with superpowers. Even with Antidote X, it’s three on one, with the one a pasty gym-dodger and the three trained martial artists. PPG in 0.003 seconds.

Dexter appears in one of the early episodes (can’t remember which one) during naptime at Pokey Oaks KG and during the bodyswitch scenes in “Criss Cross Crisis”. DL goes back into production soon, so the Girls might cameo there. A full fledged crossover would be a treat, but the last eps of PPG have wrapped and Cartoon Network and the voice actors are locked in a bitter fight over the upcoming movie, complete with threatened recasting of the major roles, so I doubt it will ever happen.
