When they made the first “Mission: Impossible” movie they absolutely butchered the music. The original was brilliant, one of the best TV themes ever written, (what was it in, 5/4 time?) and there was a great tension to it. That music just had a feel to it that something big was about to happen. Then when they started making the movie some idiot said “you can’t dance to it” and it was all over.
