Over on Twitter, Jonathon Nichols says that a team pulled the metadata and they “asses with a high degree of probability” that it was Cruz, not an aide. Amongst other reasons, apparently only Cruz posts from an iPhone to the account; his aides use TweetDeck.
Anyone here with the chops to cross-check this?

Well, that’s interesting. The guy whose Tweet I linked to above? I think his Twitter account has been deleted. The tweet I linked to is deleted, as is his response to my commenting that I don’t understand what he did well enough to assess his accuracy. Trying to find him is also not useful, since I wasn’t familiar enough with him to recognize his avatar and there are lots of Jonathon Nichols on Twitter.
I take it back. His account *is *still there, however, there are no tweets beyond midday yesterday and his first viewable post says “Testing”. Makes me wonder what happened. Is there a limit to how many tweets/days you can scroll back to?
The Failing Donny T. is beside himself this morning, amidst last night’s news that Clever Chuck Schumer and the Notorious N.A.N.C.Y. played him again over DACA;
…A lot to unpack there. I’m not sure Don the Snowflake Cuck even knows what he stands for at this point - he’s so desperate to “make deals” and sign “big, beautiful bills” that he’ll side with Democrats who at least know what they want over Republicans who can’t agree amongst themselves, that he’ll deny his own core campaign promises and speak out against things he was in favor of literally a week ago.
He’s walking back “the WALL” and his DACA revocation, even while he claims to be cheerleading for them. He’s lost the support of Congress, who’ve realized that his “threaten and bluster and never follow through” business is just that.
I question how long this farce can continue before he finally declares that “I got out at the right time because the haters and losers were blocking my attempts to #MAGA” and fucks off to his penthouse.
