I wish he really could live to be 200, and be reminded every day for the rest of the twenty-first century and well into the twenty-second that his name has replaced that of Benedict Arnold as the go-to reference for treason.

It sounds good provided that those years are spent penniless and in prison. I’m tired of seeing how much he’s gotten away with for so many years.

With no health care, no benefits, no job security, no union to help him, no unemployment insurance, no welfare, and no safety net - just like he wants to do to us.

And then get fired for no reason (“right” to work) to starve on the street.

Hell, I wouldn’t even trust him to shovel horse shit.

I have a twitter account and I follow a few people, Paul Krugman, EJ Dionne, Robert Reich, Carl Bernstein, John Dean, to name a few. Thump isn’t one of them. I have no followers and don’t want any. The main thing I use twitter for is communicating directly with the author of an article, a reporter, a local TV station or a TV program. Just about everyone has a twitter account, and their addresses are easy to find. It’s better than sending an email.

For example, once on America’s Test Kitchen, they showed a butter dish that they really liked, and when I went to the source they named, I couldn’t find it. I tweeted to Chris Kimball and got a prompt reply with the correct info. I doubt if the reply was from him personally, but I didn’t care; I found out what I wanted. Twitter is a pretty efficient way of communicating.

I too am just a follower. I like the guys at Lawfare. Benjamin Wittes, Steve Vladek. Also Nicholas Burns, Lawrence Tribe, James Comey, Jack Goldsmith, Preet Bharhara, amy walter, Lucian K Truscott IV, Stonekettle and Chuck Todd.
