Very good points. We can’t forget the abuses by the FBI during the Hoover years. Martin Luther King Jr was targeted as were other civil rights leaders. I think Hoover would dig up dirt on every incoming president and use that as leverage to conduct himself as he saw fit. Congressional oversight is essential, but now we see it morphed into one party trying to use this oversight to remain in power.
I’ll believe till my dying day that if Comey had kept his yap shut, Hillary would be president. Loretta Lynch should have suppressed that revelation, but she was deathly afraid of being accused of impropriety because she talked to Bill Clinton on the tarmac.
