Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

Partially.

Send him to NYC. Bellevue.

He’s done the typical ten year presidential aging before the inauguration has even happened.

Thinking more and more that he will simply bail. Come up with some plausible excuse, and let Pence have the keys. Which will improve our situation from the nightmarish to the merely dreadful.

Does that automatically make Ryan VP? And if Pence pulls the same thing, President? Nurse? Nurse?

If I remember correctly, Pence would nominate a new VP.

I think our Russian rentboy president has plenty of time for twitter fights. He doesn’t really focus in detail on issues and policy; everything is pretty much a spur of the moment decision or comment. Twitter is a good place for him to get lots of positive feedback, feedback that he uses to help make his major decisions and shape his belief structure.

Oh, yeah, it’s idiotic.

He gets a metric shit ton of negative feedback on Twitter. Which he ignores but he’s not in an isolated bubble.
I’m surprised he doesn’t try to answer each one.

You’re in trouble for that one!

We were doing pretty good at generously ignoring. Until somebody brought it up again!

Somebody walk me through this.

Trump says the prostitute dossier is fake. And now he says that the CIA director is responsible for leaking it. If the dossier is fake, why would the CIA have leaked it? Couldn’t it have been released by the people who made it up?

You’ve just put more thought into the subject than the orange jackass elect.

Apparently he believes it was made up, but the CIA believed it, classified it, then leaked it.

Well, Putin says it’s fake too. And under the new Trump regime, Putin is our best friend and we must believe him. Our friend Putin had the freakin’ headline on Fox News. Fox News loves Putin, and will give him lots of publicity now.

That’s the way it happened with Ford. Agnew (VP) resigned. Ford was appointed (VP). Nixon resigned. Ford became President and nominated Nelson Rockefeller for VP.

Per wiki, it’s covered by the 25th Amendment.

Prior to the 25th Amendment, the VP position was just left unfilled. Between the assassination of JFK in Nov '63 and the election of Johnson/Humphrey in '64, there was no VP. The Speaker of the House was 2nd in line for the presidency but didn’t become the VP; he remained just the Speaker.

What would happen if Twitter had to close down? (I’ve read a few articles saying it is losing a lot of money and has no real future)

What would the big baby do then? Would he try to prop up Twitter with a government bail out?

On NPR this weekend there was a discussion of how Trump and his Cabinet will actually govern, and the NPR moderator referred to the Cabinet as “the grown-ups in the room” and he did so without finger quotes, irony, or apology.

Perhaps the NPR moderator is afraid of President Trump siccing the FCC on 'em?

You could give him a paper cut with a tissue.

I think it’s weird, that the only apparently sane Cabinet “nominee” is the one they call Mad Dog.

I thought it was pretty good too
