The part about Joe being shot was pretty egregious.
Some people don’t like to click on blind links, and it’s not clear that mouse-over works on all the themes. (Maybe it does; I don’t know.)
People on a budget like to control how many times they visit firewalled sites that allow only X-many free views per month.
Not to mention, I HATE blind YouTube links. They should be banned.
I never follow YouTube links either. The person who posts needs to give SOME idea of what the video is about.
Thing is, if the link is attached to a word (danger: YouTube video), you don’t know it’s a YouTube link until you click it.
Not necessarily a good example. On mouseover, I see the link goes to Little kittens meowing and talking - Cute cat video - YouTube
I don’t know if you are rick-rolling me or just showing me puppy videos, but I know it goes to YT. True, not everyone knows where to look for this, or if their browser is configured not to show it (for some reason), how to change it, but the information that it’s a YT video that I can choose to ignore if I wish is apparent.
Phones don’t do mouseovers. It’s a blind link.

Good point. I browse about 70/30 desktop/mobile, and was writing on desktop. Didn’t consider mobile browsing.

This is a regulation put in place in 1968 to ensure fair housing practices for black Americans. As I said in the clusterfuck thread, what’s next-- pledging to once again have “white” and “colored” drinking fountains?

Trump won’t veto the bill for a very simple reason. If what I have heard is true there is something in the bill the removes the requirement for political campaigns to reveal foreign involvement.
So Trump signs the bill then asks Russia and China and whoever else for help.
