He’s pissed “his” Supreme Court picks didn’t hand him what he wanted on a silver platter. Guess that shows an instance where an irrevocable appointment for life works for the better - the Supremes don’t have to worry about Trump firing them because he can’t.

He’s also pissed because he is not actually a dictator and can’t just get what he wants by asking for it.

You know, tantrums are pretty ugly in a toddler. They’re even more ugly in an alleged adult in his 70’s.

I think the more likely explanation is that to people like Trump, “knowledge is power” and giving up any amount of power is an affront to him. His returns could be squeeky clean, but unless making them public gave him some advantage that he doesn’t already have he’s gonna pitch a fit.

I think the more likely explanation is that to people like Trump, “knowledge is power” and giving up any amount of power is an affront to him. His returns could be squeeky clean, but unless making them public gave him some advantage that he doesn’t already have he’s gonna pitch a fit.

It’s probably one of 4 things, from least to most damaging:

1. His returns show that he’s not an actual billionaire, just a loser multimillionaire
2. They show he’s been involved with something maybe not quite illegal but very fishy, like creative tax sheltering
3. They show he’s involved with something that is illegal, like tax evasion
4. They show large influxes of cash from Russia

Another trump tweet in which he manages to pack so much wrong into so few characters:

For the 1/100th time, the reason we show so many Cases, compared to other countries that haven’t done nearly as well as we have, is that our TESTING is much bigger and better. We have tested 40,000,000 people. If we did 20,000,000 instead, Cases would be half, etc. NOT REPORTED!

• Uhhh, the 1/100 time? I don’t think he understands fractions.
• AGAIN with the “we have more cases because we test more” utterly ridiculous claim.
• He acts exasperated that he needs to keep explaining we have more cases because we test so much and PEOPLE JUST DON’T GET IT.
• Our testing is NOT much bigger and better, it’s actually lower per capita than other countries who’ve managed to control their Covid outbreaks.

Can you imagime being one of those Republicans that are fearful of standing up to Trump, and simply accept bullshit like this? Man, I am SO glad not to be one of them.
