I use plain old Crest. I grew up with it, so that’s what I switched back to. My wife uses all sorts of different toothpaste concoctions; and I got tired of. We each have our own toothpaste now.
I also started using the tube as an indicator to change my toothbrush. They’re cheap when you buy a 10 pack; so opening up a new tube of toothpaste = breaking out a new toothbrush.
A friend of a friend’s uncle’s cousin’s dog once informed me that Crest yellows your teeth. Since the dog had nice white fangs I considered this solid authority, and I’ve been on Colgate ever since. And really, the only thing I pay attention to is that it’s Colgate gel – I don’t much care about the details so what I get varies. I don’t even remember any more what it is that I don’t like about paste. And I use a Braun circular rotating electric brush, if you must know.
As for mouthwash, I’ve read all about the wonders of modern alcohol-free mouthwashes. No thanks. IMHO, if it doesn’t have alcohol in it, it doesn’t work. I buy the cheap store-brand light mint mouthwash loaded with alcohol and it works great.
why didn’t they have that when because my teeth were soft the braces I had wore holes in my teeth and they’ve been slowly breaking apart for 30 years …I only have maybe 10 whole teth left …
Weird. You can see the link, which is hidden in the period, when you hit “reply with quote” (I changed the square brackets to curly ones to make it visible):
{QUOTE=locas2019;21864851}Generally, different toothpastes are used{URL=“http://www.diy-showercurtins.com”}.{/URL} I think that the same kind of bacteria is used all the time. The bacteria will produce antibodies to them. So when they are used up, they will change the brand. I don’t know if it’s right, haha.{/QUOTE}
