Yes.
It was between the CZ75 and the Mossberg. Aside from the tight spaces in my home, I had to also consider the fact that Mrs. ChicanoRojo is a bit on the short side (5’2"). Both of us went to the store and let her use both. She did not mind the weight of the CZ75, but the Mossberg, aside from weight, was a bit unwielding for her. So. CZ75. The price was good. $399.
I’ll probably get the Mossberg later on. 
On my OP, I haven’t able to find a book in my local hunting&sports places and Barnes and Noble for the CZ75. The manual gives a very cursory go over on field stripping. I want to do the field striping, but I’ll let the more detailed stripping for the gunsmith.
Any good books? DVDs? Web pages?
