New movie streaming on Max (i will admit a friend of mine is in it) produced by M Night Shyamalan but it was a very intriging movie. Not really scary but mind bending.
I usually don’t like horror. But I will watch this.
I hope there’s not bloody gore.
My coworker and I visited Barksdale AFB in March of 2019 to do some work. We had some time to kill at the end of the week, so we drove north of Shreveport without any plan of where to go or what to do. We somehow ended up on the western shore of Caddo Lake, and ate at a small restaurant called the Shady Glade Cafe. Here are some photos I took just outside the restaurant. The lake is beautiful, and the cypress trees growing out of the water give it a really spooky look. I told my coworker, “This looks like something out of a horror movie!” Guess I wasn’t alone in thinking that.
It isnt gory, there is a small amount of blood because of an injury and a half of an alligator early in the movie.
I dont like scary movies and only see the ones my friend is in.
I liked it but had to go online and find a breakdown of what happened. Even then I had to read through it a couple of times.
Also, I can’t believe I didn’t recognize Lauren Ambrose. It appears to me that she had some cosmetic work done, and if so, it is very well done.
Wife and I watched it a week or two ago. Yeah, it seems to be marketed as a horror movie but I wouldn’t classify it as ‘horror’ at all. More of a moody ‘mystery box’ type of movie.
I thought it was ok but a little derivative. Maybe that’s just because my wife and I have seen a lot of time-travel or time-loop style entertainments-- ‘Dark’ comes to mind.
