Hey… I was wondering if anyone here’s heard the last Cafe Tacuba CD Cuatro Caminos… I only came across it while interning at universal so i’m just getting into them. I thought the cd was pretty cool though, a lot of different styles in there, and they’re not like the typical latin band out there right now. I’d definetly recommend checking em out if you havent heard of them yet (www.cafetacuba.com.mx probably has some songs). They also have an online street team (www.ufanz.com/teamz/zonaalternativa) if you’re actually into the band

Saw em last week at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. They weren’t bad, not really my thing though.
I was thinking about doing a thread about them!
Their new CD is awesome. I’ve heard this CD compared to Kid A but I think that they’re both great CDs.
I saw them perform live twice this year, at Coachella and Street Scene, and they put on great shows. Many people at Coachella had never heard of them but they left impressed.
Cool, yeah, i missed the Coachella show, but I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this month with Los Lobos…pretty good show
