Caffeine deprivation headache...Please help...

Don’t let anybody bad-mouth caffiene. Caffiene is my friend.

If I don’t consume a Mountain Dew within 10 minutes of wakefulness, I’m absolutely not myself.

I found that when I quit caffeine (after the withdrawal period of about a week) I felt better than I had in years, I slept better at night, my moods were more stable, my digestion was better (I didn’t feel the need to eat candy after every meal, which I’ve since been told is a sign of poor digestion), my skin cleared up (we brew up the oil from the coffee bean), etc., etc., etc.

But you know what? After three or four months of feeling that good I realized that I don’t want to feel that good – so I’m back to my pot-a-day habit. Cheers, anyone up for a hot cup?

I only drink coffee at work in the morning. I couldn’t figure out why I was having gale force migraines every weekend. Turns out that I’m caffeine sensitive and even the caffeine in chocolate or exedrin will trigger a migraine. So, no thanks, I’ll pass up regular coffee and drink my decaf.

Oh, My Goodness! You, too!? I wonder if that has something to do with it. Although it’s gotten better, I used to have horrific, paralytic migraines on the weekend. Now I wonder if that has something to do with my caffeine intake…

Hmmmm…
