Caitlyn Jenner for Senate?

Let’s try getting back to the basics here…

Does Jenner have any brains worth speaking of? If no, then no. If yes, then I leave this up to California.

Transparently learned behaviour of the Kartrashian attention seeking variety.

How can it be viewed otherwise?

Perhaps she could run for mayor; it worked well for Sonny Bono and Clint Eastwood.

That’s so last decade. We live in a Brave New World, where a reality TV star can start at the top.

I think the Log Cabin Republicans are largely Log Cabin Independents, these days. The recent sharp shift in Republican “values” makes it harder and harder to reconcile.

will Mike Pence eat dinner alone with her if she wins?

California has jungle primaries. Even if she beats all the republicans, she might not make the ballot in the the general.

2016 featured Harris (D) versus Sanchez (D).

If she was the other parts of LGBT, I could see Republicans voting for her in a “see, we’re not homophobic” gambit. But not being transphobic doesn’t seem to be something Republicans care about yet, to the detriment of getting younger voters.

(See how Yiannopoulos was embraced for as long as he was. Also, I love that I know Greek names well enough that I never misspell that name.)

Switch parties = Democrats offer the nominee position to replace the less popular Hillary Clinton = Instant Presidency !

What fervent Democrat could not vote as some could not vote for Hillary ? It would be hateful !

We’re certainly ready for a massive freak show.

There is older precedent for marrying into fame and parlaying that into a Senate seat.

That is rude, not politically correct, and funny as hell.

Honestly, I think it could be a good thing for the transgender cause. Otherwise, I have no idea how she’d be in actual service.

But you’re right, it won’t happen as long as she’s a Republican.

She’s all yours, GOP!

From a May 2015 perspective, which sounds more unlikely
President Donald Trump?
Or
Senator Caitlyn Jenner?

lots of celebs have run for office and won . For example a B list actor named Reagan did pretty well.

Not to mention :

Arnold S
Jesse Ventura
Al Franken

and so on

Oh HELL no, as I said. I’d say 8/10 transitioned transgender people I know hate her, and about half of all transgender people. I wouldn’t even have her on my show if she mailed me and asked to be on it - unless I was allowed to ask her any question I wanted to.

It would not be good for the trans cause because Jenner herself is not good for the cause. She’s anti-gay and oddly transphobic for a trans person. She’s undermining a whole lot of what trans people are fighting for.

She’s also not really done a good job as presenting herself as intelligent or capable of the job. So having a trans person who is bad at the job isn’t helpful to the trans cause, either.

I’m pretty sure her useful contributions to the cause are over. It was great that some famous person came out as trans, and opened a public dialog about this. But it sucks that it was not a good person.

I mean, South Park wasn’t wrong. There’s a reason they didn’t get too much heat for making her Trump’s wife or messing up her face, despite the transphobic overtones of doing so.

Jeez, being a Kardashian is bad enough. I have read NOTHING good about her online since she ‘came out’ and got awards and stuff, but the Kardashian stank is strong with this one. She is not liked anywhere, she is a bigot in a dress and wig.

Jumped Up Jesus In A Sidecar. That’s like saying, “I never heard of New York City, I never heard of Gone With the Wind. What’s this global warming thing I keep hearing about?” I imagine the reception in that cave you live in must be quite poor, but really!! Kind of hilarious as far as ignorance goes.
