What’s this global warming thing I keep hearing about?” I imagine the reception in that cave you live in must be quite poor, but really!! Kind of hilarious as far as ignorance goes.

I knew that she was somehow connected to the Kardasians but that’s the extent of my knowledge.

I’m vaguely aware that the Kardasians are known for some sort of reality show that may or may not still be in production.

Rereading my post I realize that it could be taken to mean that I believe that the issues surrounding Jenner are all “trashy pop culture” issues. That’s not the case. I was speaking strictly about her relationship with the Kardashians.

I am very much aware of the political and important cultural issues she represents and that she’s a poor representative for those causes.

Sure, the fact that she’s a celebrity isn’t a strike against her, and celebrities running for and winning office is especially nothing new in California. The strike against her is that she’s personally repulsive, and politically repulsive to a majority of members of both parties.

Jenner I was aware of even when she was Bruce, because of the Olympics, but her personal life was not something that interested me. I wasn’t aware that the OJ lawyer Kardashian was related to the currently popular Kardashian family.

My point was that it’s silly to criticize someone for not following all of the details of this stuff.

I don’t know what Jenner is currently sporting and neither do you, maybe you could cool it with this sort of comment which even some of us cisgender folks are tired of and find offensive.
