I play on the Wii, there’s quite a bit that they had to carve out to get it ported over, and I suspect that I’d know about this already if it were there.
And Second Chance/Last Stand, etc is the reason that I favor a more spray and keep spraying technique lately or automatically take a swipe at everyone with the knife after I drop them. I will just dump half a mag into someone to make sure, but even that’s annoying since there’s a gap between my ‘killing’ them and them going into that mode where I waste ammo since you can’t kill them for a second or two. And playing only Prestige TDM means that the fuckers will likely off you while you’re trying to finish them off.
Anyone got the PC version? Do you know how to mute players? I tried googling it but I get a gazillion pages about how to mute in x-box (even if I put +pc in the search string)
I tried searching within the game, but there seems to be no obvious way to do it. I want to mute the occasional knob-head who makes stupid noises during gameplay (to this day I haven’t encountered anyone making human talking sounds)
I started playing hardcore yesterday, and I think I like it more than regular. Not having a map is kind of a pain, but I much prefer just dropping a couple rounds on a dude and knowing he’s dead. More fun that way.
And on hardcore, it seems I get a LOT more kills with my beloved “Second Chance”. hehehe
CriticalDog, if you want to add me. I play at weird times though.
I’ve prestiged for the second time now, and I don’t know if it’s worth it to keep doing it over and over. I don’t need all the extra load out slots or the gold camo for my guns so I don’t know if I’ll do it for a third time. It sucks so hard starting over and not having your preferred load out available.
When playing Domination in Jungle around capture point B I can never seem to get a smoke grenade or nova gas to go off. It’s not the water 'cause you can throw them anywhere else and they work.
After playing mostly Domination and FFA in MW2, I’ve been drawn almost exclusively to Mercenary Team Deathmatch in Blops. I’ve never played as a ‘team’ before except for a couple times on MW2 where I’d kinda pair up with someone in Domination. Question - do you play w a headset on or no?
What’s the difference between using a headset and good speakers? You’re still only getting stereo sound from a headset, so you can still only tell if something is nearby to your left or your right or somewhere in between.
I’ve added some new videos to my youtube channel…
I remember the first game I played with the headset. It was night and day. I heard things I didn’t hear before. If you play FPS, you have to use headphones.
Too bad, dude. Multiplayer gets even better when you have a crew of folks to run with and call out spawns and locations. I couldn’t imagine never palying with a microphone. I just wouldn’t play the game.
