I have been on this board since 1997(on AOL) and I have never, if my memory serves correctly, asked you guys to tune into something.

I do not work for the show. I do not work for the network. I am simply a huge fan of the greatest Science Fiction show in the history of television.

It’s premature finale(looooooong story) airs tomorrow at 8:00 Eastern on the Sci-Fi channel.

TV guide calls the show “legendary” and Newsday wrote an amazing article(link below).

I am tempted to lie to you and tell you that you won’t be confused at all watching, but the truth is, there will be some that throws you if you have never seen it.

But overall, the magic of the characters and the writing will shine through and the ending will blow your mind more than the ending to any classic series in history(I’ve seen it). It will blow you away.

Please, tune in. Be one of the ones who will be able to say one day that you saw the finale to the classic show “Farscape.”

It will(Hopefully) be the Star Trek of the future.

I won’t. After that moronic “the fetus has your memories” plot twist, I had enough.

I won’t deny Farscape was once a great show. But it started going downhill once they started making Scorpius a good guy, and jumped the shark for good once grandma joined. After that, the shows were incoherent messes and practically unwatchable, and the characters were wildly inconsistant. The entire final season had an air of desperation and floundered from one thing to the next without any sense the writers had a clue about wht made a good story. It was crap and crap again and considering how good the show was before that, a major disappointment.

Let me put it this way: the final season of Farscape was as bad as the final season of “Battlestar Gallactica” – and used the same ideas.

I liked Scorpy’s change. But I didn’t get the last ep where they seemed to jump right from being in a nuclear blast… to being happily back on the ship, with no resolution to what had happened to the Scarrens, Grayza, or anyone else.

Unfortunately, nobody is going to be watching, thanks to the war.

Just thought I’d post this link so you can see what some other think.

The main suffering the show has had for the last three episodes is that they didn’t know they were cancelled. Many of the points people have brought up would have been dealt with in the fifth season, but alas, that is not to happen(as of now).

As for the fetal DNA thing… you know, there’s a reason it’s called science FICTION.

Be watching in about two minutes. I’d argure for Babylon 5 as the best science fiction tv show ever, but Farscape was damned good, and did some things not done with sf on tv before. But the last season has been kind of a mess.
