What’s up my fellow IB’ers. The time has come huh? EXAMS! I wish you all the best of luck. I am a junior and do not have to take them this yr, cept for 6th subject Psych. So… DARN! So release all of your pent up stress here, and get it all out so that you can BE OPTIMISTIC when going into that lovely testing facility these next few weeks. :slight_smile:

What the hell is IB?

IB = International Baccalaureate.

I was in an IB school before it really started mattering, and switched over to the French Baccalaureate for High School.

I graduated from an IB high school back in '93. I didn’t take the full certificate program, just the higher-level Physics test. I scored well enough to place out of freshman physics in college (5 out of 7?).

Funny thing is - my high school is here in Pittsburgh, PA, in/near the suburb of Oakland. When I moved to the other side of Oakland to attend Carnegie Mellon University, I still had to explain to them what it was…

I guess it’s a little more common now - but back then, not too many Americans knew what an IB even was.

Took the Higher Level test. Way back in 99.

Actually passed. Didn’t think I would. Mom died not two months earlier.
