mswas has a point. I’ve noticed lately that people have taken to saying, “You’re a liar” as meaning the same thing as, “you’re wrong”. i.e.:
“Bush signed that bill last April.”
“You’re a liar! He signed it in May.”
That really is a coarsening of debate, and it makes it hard to have civil discussions.
You people parse his posts enough to deduce what he means to the level where you can judge whether it is a lie or not? You’ve got way too much free time.
I didn’t consider anything he said in the post addressed to me a lie. Incomprehensible, yes, insulting yest (but I’m amused by that), lie no. I’m not saying it isn’t, I didn’t want to figure it out enough.
I haven’t been following the political threads, though. In any case, lying is the least of his problems.
