I own both OOTS prequels, and I re-read them a lot. The other day I was looking at the two-page spread of potential adventurers turning Roy down… and some of them looked a bit familiar. I’d aready pegged the white-haired guy with the magic sword who says “Nay” as Elric. But now I’m pretty sure the blond with the cross-necklace and the stake who says, “Sorry, liches aren’t my specialty” is Buffy. And looking back to strip 415, the halfling with the vase (and the wizard companion with the pointy hat) is very definately Frudu and the Ming. So I’m wondering if there’s any other cross-overs there that I missed.
