So, maybe there was a reason for this in the news that I overlooked; but it just hit me over the head right before Election Day. Why didn’t the Obama’s campaign for her? That’s not unusual, right? Even if they weren’t going to campaign on the trail, I just really didn’t hear them saying anything other than their initial support.
They did campaign for her. Both Barack and Michelle made a number of appearances at Harris’s campaign rallies, particularly in the final few weeks.

It does seem reactionary. I don’t know where my head was as it has now been pointed out to me in both replies, they did campaign for her. I just can’t help thinking to myself, wow, if Michelle went on the trail for her, she’d be unstoppable. As a point of reference, I’m a registered Republican, but I considerate myself moderate. Kamala got my vote.
