Gluten does this to me. And there are GF beers, but they aren’t cheap and I really suspect the gluten isn’t her issue, alcohol is.

I had continuous diahorrea the entire time (Several months) in East Africa, which was I believe due to some sort of local dysentery.
I think that your friend though is an alcoholic in denial.
I had diarrhea every day multiple times a day for three years. Cholestryamine also fixed me right up.
I took it for a few months and now everything seems to work correctly (most of the time).
I was eating healthily and was is pretty good shape (better than I am now).
