Can anybody identify this car?

The other day while driving home from work I saw a car I’d never seen before. I thought it was pretty so I took out the trusty camera phone and snapped a picture of it, but due to safety issues I only got the back end.

Anybody know what this is?

Kinda looks like a modified 'Vette.

From the contours of the door area and the way it sits, I’d say it was a C5 ('98 to '04 model) Corvette with a body kit in the style of a 53-54 'Vette.

Here’s a shot of the nose. I saw one at a car show a few years ago. At that time, the kits were not into production.

Yep, a new Corvette modified in the style of the old one. My newspaper did a story on one once (a local man owns one). It’s horrendous up close.

Looks pretty damn cool from that angle IMO. The tailights in the shot in the OP are butt ugly though.
