Can anybody tell me about "The Pogo Special Birthday Special"?

I very vaguely remember seeing this when I was a kid, but remember next to nothing about it. I’m kind of interested in seeing this again, but I don’t want to spend money on it if it’s very bad.

Does anyone remember seeing this? Chuck Jones, Walt Kelly and others got together on it, according to what I’m reading, and it came out in 1969. Any input?

I saw it when it first came out. It was OK, but not up to the best of either Jones or Kelly. Not bad, but hardly inspired.

Thanks, RealityChuck. I’m leaning towards not purchasing it, because this is matching my extremely fuzzy memory of it. I don’t want to cheapify the Kelly experience.
