Can anyone ID this language for me? (Daden)

I was trying to come up with a pleasant-yet-unusual sounding name for a character, and I decided that I like the sound of Daden.

It sounded very dimly familar, perhaps a surname I thought, so I decided to look it up. It apparently means something, but in a language I’m unfamiliar with. It’s part of several book titles from Amazon, which, unfortunately, have no desciptions that allude to which language they’re written in(A Scandinavian one?) I would like very much to know what the word means…can anyone identify this language, or better yet, tell me what Daden means?

Here are those titles and authors I got from amazon:

  1. Soeharto Mijn Gedachten Woorden En Daden
    by Soeharto (Author)
  2. De bruiden in het bad en andere duistere daden
    by Johan Fabricius

  7. Tussen dromen, daden en twijfels : dagboekaantekeningen over de sociaale-democratie in Nederland en daarbuiten 1986-1993

    by E. A. I. M. van den Berg
  9. Geen woorden maar daden : het drama van Beverwijk en hoe het verder ging met de hooligans van Feyenoord

  10. Daden onder de zon : verhalen uit het vrouwenkamp

Dutch?

Certainly Dutch… I don’t speak Dutch, but I can puzzle some out, and I strongly suspect that daden means “deeds” (as in “a dastardly deed”, rather than the deed to a property).

It’s Dutch. Until a real competent Dutchperson comes in. . . it’s the plural of daad-- action, deed, act.
Suharto my thoughts words and deeds
The bride in the bath and other mysterious deeds
JP Coen-- days and deeds/ actions in the VOC [Dutch West Indian Company?]
Watch our deeds: liberalism and the renovation of the netherlandish state
et cetera.

Sorry, WAIT FOR our deeds, and the Dutch EAST India Company. But that’s not the point, is it?
