Damn, I’m impressed.
The mountains and scenery looks a lot like some places in southern Utah.
Since that area is dry as well, it’s only spring when there is as much greenery.

Just came across your convo while looking for a large copy of the nice photo of the Pound used in this NZ Herald article.

Anyway yes it’s Wilpena Pound as has been deduced. (lucky enough to live just a couple hours drive away, in the Southern Flinders Ranges)
And yes it’s a ‘rabbit proof fence’ (there were times in history when rabbits were in such large numbers that they banked up at these fences to the extent that they could climb over each other and get over the fence!) (…or so legend has it :))
