Can anyone recommend a good Twitter client for Windows?

I’m at a loss here. On OS X I have a twitter client I love (Tweetie…which seems to have been bought by Twitter and rebranded as…Twitter). Android and iOS both have a lot of good choices for Twitter clients.

So I’m using Windows right now and can’t find a Twitter client that isn’t awful. The website is not an option (I hate it). I’m unimpressed by Tweetdeck, to say the least. As far as I can tell, all the Windows twitter clients that use Adobe Air are terrible.

Is there an official Twitter client for Windows the way there is for OS X and the mobile platforms? Is there a good one I’ve missed? Help me out, Dope.

If there is, I haven’t found it. I use Trillian for Twitter “chat,” but otherwise just deal with the website.

I use the website as well, with the Tweetfilter plugin for Greasemonkey. It serves my purposes okay, though it’s still all a bit clunky.

I also don’t like Tweetdeck. I’d rather have something tiny and convenient I can sit in the corner of my screen, but still fully featured. Every attempt at that has been thwarted by Twitter itself shutting them down.
