The book by (I think) Sally Fallon? I keep hearing about it, but some of the claims about nutrition make me suspicious, and I was wondering what the Straight Dope on her science, nutrition information, and credentials is. I know I shouldn’t end a sentence with ‘is’.
Anyone?
There’s no rule that says that you shouldn’t end a sentence with an “is.”
She has some interviews on youtube. She speaks of studies that can’t be duplicated and refers to things that some doctor found ‘when he looked at a group of people’.
She did everything that someone with a non-scientific approach would do. Tons of anecdots and not much in terms of real studies…stretching to make cause and effect relationships based on various generalities.
