One big problem with gonorrhea pharyngitis is that it can spread thruout the body, and suddenly you’ve got disseminated gonorrhea, which can cause a febrile illness, with pustular skin eruptions. This itself can be fatal, and can infrequently also cause heart, liver and brian infections.
A more common result from disseminated gonorrhea is septic joints, which left untreated can result in joint destruction.
And while it’s less likely to get HIV via oral-genital contact than thru vaginal or anal intercourse, it’s not impossible. Safer doesn’t mean safe.
But much more likely to the one performing the oral sex, not the one being sucked.
