I was wondering if elephants can jump. There’s a Staff Report on the subject:
But I noticed that it paled in comparison to the answer from David Feldman’s “Imponderables” book of the same name:

(Short answer: Baby elephants can jump, at least. There’s at least one report of an adult elephant jumping, but (a) there’s not much to jump over in their natural habitat, and (b) they have an awkward enough time walking, let alone jumping.)
