Can I get a nano sim on a pay as you go plan in San Francisco?

The missus and I will be arriving in San Francisco in about 2 weeks for our holiday,and we’d raer much not have to pay the big bucks for data roaming on our iPhone 5s. :slight_smile:

One common way to get around that is to get a local pay as you go plan in the country you’re going to, but the wrinkle is that we’re currently using iPhone 5s, with nano sims, and I don’t know if the carriers will give us a nano sim for a pay as you go plan.

I’ve heard that AT&T doesn’t even offer mobile data on their prepaid plans, so we will probably be going with TMobile. Does anyone in San Francisco know for sure if our plan is workable?

You could always trim a sim card down to nano sim size.

If you don’t want to do it by hand there are nano sim cutters that do it with one press.
