I called my Internet supplier tech support because I had a connectivity problem. They suggested I run "netsh int ip reset’ and it would fix all my probnelms, so I ran it. Now I can connect to the Internet again, but my VPN connection does not work. Also, ipconfig /release works, but ipconfig /renew gives me: “An error occured. Unable to contact DHCP server. Request has timed out”.
I have a resetlog.txt file that shows the changes that the ‘netsh’ command did. Is there a tool that will take this file and reverse these changes so I can get back what I had before ?
I guess system restore is my next option, but I thought I’d ask here before doing that.
thanks !
