Can I sue a mechanic for not fixing my motorcycle?

I’ve had my bike in the shop with this guy since 10-04-03, and he’s been telling me that it’ll be two days til it’s fixed since about 11-01-03. Now my car is in the shop and I have to rent a car to get to work.

He’s got the parts, and has told me many many times that he’s ready to go, and it’ll be done at the latest in two days.

This has been a weekly thing for WAY too long. Can I sue this guy for rental car fees and the price to tow my bike to another shop?

I think you have a good case, ask when the parts arrived, if any were required, ask if there is any reason why the repairs have not been done.

Did you set some sort of deadline when you took the vehicle in for repair ?
