Can I use a touchtone as Google Voice Greeting?

My apartment has a gate from which visitors can call my cell phone, and I can let them in by pressing 9 on the key pad. To my embarrassment, I’ve missed this call a few times. To streamline this process, I’d like to record a voicemail greeting with the “9” DTMF tone for the gate on Google Voice.

You can get Google Voice to call your cell phone to record custom greetings for different callers, but I can find no way to upload a recorded greeting. The workaround involves playing the greeting through your computer speakers into your phone, but that results in a very faint tone - it appears that DTMF tones are filtered out.

Is there a way around this, so my guests (and pet sitter) can enter my code in the gate box and be let in even if my phone isn’t working?
