Well, the thread did start out poorly, but it has exceeded all expectations and has actually become interesting.
Anyway, there are several posters who have made arguments about how they truly have NO time to squeeze in exercise. They have busy lives, and just can’t do it.
Individual circumstances vary of course, but people in countries other than the U.S. also have very busy lives … but they stay – on average – much more trim than Americans. Why is that?

Am I the only one who, on reading the thread title, thought it would make a fine Far Side cartoon caption? 
Perhaps your high rise is different, but in my office building you can’t take the stairs; they can be used only for evacuating in an emergency. It’s a good idea if you can take the stairs but many buildings won’t allow you to.

Shoulda said “no time to fit in exercise”. Um, better make it “no time for exercise”.
The argument is basically still a crock, though. And I know as well as anybody.
