Is it even possible to go for several years without ejaculation? I find that, if nothing else, I end up having nocturnal emissions every month or two. Granted, I’m not yet “middle aged”, but two years sounds pretty implausible to me.

As to whether the lack of release has oncological consequences, it’s one of many factors and probably among the least significant. Religious ascetics have for centuries aspired for “mortification of the flesh,” wherein a lack of sexual activity will eventually result in a lack of sexual desire. Sounds like a lose/lose proposition to me, but hey, whatever gets you through the night.
I just feel that it’s all-around better for me not to be a slave to sexual desires to the point whereby I have to imagine my hand being a woman’s vagina. It’s like when I was around 5 that I was in bed one night and had just finished (sorry!) eating a booger and thought, “I don’t think I’ll do this anymore.”
Truth be told it’s more complicated than that but I’d rather not go into it. Suffice it to say that I probably met the quota for this life time and most likely for the next 20.
