In the midst of a horrible week that just keeps getting worse, I’ve been informed that I have a handful of new cavities. A friend of mine mentioned how she got her back teeth sealed and re-sealed throughout her early teens, and they’ve never been a problem. Is this still an option? All the sites that mention it involve little kids, and my dentist has never brought it up. I know it won’t help with between-the-teeth cavities, but will it save my deep-grooved, cavity-prone molars?
I have sealents on all my back molors but the thing is, it doens’t protect you from cavities in between your teeth (where I happen to have quite a few).
