there was a song that was popular on the local rock stations about a year ago. I thought(mitakenly) that it was “Down” by stone temple pilots. Imagine my surprise when I got the CD and realized that it was a completely different song.
The lyrics of the song I’m trying to find are(in part)

It’s the reason why I’m down
In a season, been pushed around
Everyone I know considers me a clown.

I can’t love you anymore.
I’m scared of the sound, only…

There’s more, but that’s the general idea…
