I am going to be invovled in some independent film work, and I have been given the opportunity to direct a piece, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a video camera for me, about midrange. Something that I can run a boom mic from.

I have a Flip Video Ulltra HD. I don’t know about a boom? You can get a stand for it.
