So, I need to print out labels on our file folders. I am sure that I can make a template to do this, but I thought there might be a template already made out there somewhere. So could someone point me in the right direction please?
The template needs to be in Microsoft Excel 97 format, and I need to print the folder label on the folder tab and some miscellaneous information on the inside cover of the folder.
Any help is appreciated.

As far as the labels for the tabs, you can find templates here , on Avery’s website.
As far as printing on the inside of the folder, you might be better off to just have a stamp made. Depending on the type of stamp you choose (either rubber, or self-inking), they can be made pretty large.
My advice would be to use labels. I can’t imagine having consistent good luck running a manila folder through a printer. YMMV. But what I would do is search on Avery Labels in the Microsoft help. I’m not currently using '97 so I’m not sure exactly what you’ll get. But there are templates that correspond with various numbered styles of Avery labels and you can find a side that will work to label the tabs, and a larger size that you can use to print info and stick on the inside of the folder. Also, with labels, you won’t need to refile stuff if you need to make a change or correction.
