Can someone who can read and write Austrian please help me out?

I have sold these two items on eBay. The buyer is Austrian.

Fantastic Butter Yellow Larry Mahan Boots Sz 6.5 B NEW

ANNE KLEIN SOFT LEATHER COMFORT CLOG SIZE 6 M -Med Wide

and I am trying to communicate with an Austrian buyer.

This is what I want to say

"You have purchased two items (shoes + boots) I notice you are from Austria and I assume you wish the shoes to be shipped there.

Price to ship both shoes (Mahan + Anne Klein) to Austria via USPS is $ 29.95 US

Shipping = $ 29.95

  • Larry Mahan Boots $ 37.95
  • Anne Klein Shoes $ 9.95

Total is $ 77.85

Please send me payment via paypal or check and send me your address in Austria. Please note that this translation into Austrian is a one time favor done for me, so if you could reply in English if you have further questions it would be greatly appreciated. "

Can someone translate this into Austrian for me? Any assistance appreciated.

Well first Austrian is German. Second, i fthe person bought on eBay, I’d be pretty sure they coudl read English, so I’d just send an English message.

I tried the English route first. I got a page of German ebay text confirming the purchase over two days ago, and had not heard from her since after I sent her an English message more or less identical to the one below. My concern is that she went nuts for the boots and impluse purchased them, and now doesn’t know how to pay for them…but I could be very wrong.

I’ll resend in english.

Never mind. I pulled her feedback history. She’s apparently been buying lots of US cowboy related footwear and clothing. It’s apparent she knows perfecly well how to pay for it.

I do wonder what an Austrian wants with US cowboy and cowgirl gear?

If you keep it simple maybe you can get by with an online translater. Here’s one of the first I found:

It tells me “How are you going to pay?” translates to “Wie sind Sie dabei zu zahlen?” in German.

That kind of typical American stuff (relating to cowboys, Indians, 50s rock ‘n’ roll, etc.) is extremely popular abroad.

Yeah, “Cowboys & Indians” is very “in” with a subset of Germans; I assume it’s the same with Austrians. At worst she’s selling into another market.

I don’t know about now, but a few years back, American Country/Western was ihot in Europe. I’d even heard that it was the number one musical export from the United States, but I can’t say for certain.
