Can "sport" not be discussed outside of "The Game Room"?

I posted this in GD rather than The Game Room, thinking some folk who never visit that forum - or, like me, who are not sports fans - might participate.

You clearly knew, or at least suspected, that the thread made sense being posted in the game room. You wrote that disclaimer explaining why you chose an option other than the obvious one.

Next time just message a mod and ask if it’s cool to post elsewhere. I bet you’re much more likely to get an answer you like that way.

This question is more of an odds/statistics question, but ECG said “Questions about games, including calculating odds and such, actually belong in the Game Room.”

It may not be obvious from the post, but that thread is literally about a video game.
