What ticker.
No.
They got pretty close. For half an hour an ODI was interesting. Good hitting from the #11. Dan Vettori has as much guts as talent. And what a shame Chris Cairns has retired from the serious form of the game.
As tragic admition as this is is for a Kiwi. We can’t beat you tossers twice. Everytime we beat the aussie machine they come back harder.
And it is a national character thing.
Kiwi’s are their own best whacking machine. The tall poppy syndrome never worked better then here.
Aussies and Kiwis will always be different…
After that one time for 20 minutes, I doubt it could ever be repeated.
[sub]Damnit, I can never remember the year![/sub]
Never mind, thought it was a “random thought” thread. Carry on with whatever activity you’re discussing.

Awwwwwwww duffer nice to see you again
Oooohhhh, you guys are in summer now! How about that bikini modeling I’ve been asking for over the last 6 months?
Jeese you guys are harder critics than Aussies. I thought they were going to pull off two miracles in a row and they nearly did. If Harris hadn’t been injured fielding, if Cairns (what a cool guy) had lasted a little longer, if Kyle Mills had got more of the strike at the end…
They are a very good side winning 18 of their last 23 ODIs before this game.
I don’t think I have ever seen 4 sixes in a row before.
The NZeds are once again looking like a side to be underestimated at some peril. The late-order batting was very impressive, and I could see Mills being used as a pinch-hitter in the future.
Is Andrew Symonds on the way out, or is this just a blip?
