Can the Silver Surfer beat up Thor?

So when Rogue became Thor, did her natural super-strength (which she acquired from Carol Danvers, the first Ms. Marvel) add on to her strength as the Asgardian God of Thunder?

I just got a crazy idea…Can Thor beat up Superman?

pre-Crisis-on-Infinite-Earths Superman, or post-Crisis Superman?

I don’t have a copy of the issue in question infront of me (in fact, I went looking, and I don’t seem to have it at all anymore :(). However, IIRC, Rogue became Thor by permanently absorbing Thor’s powers out of whichever body he was bound to at the time. That certainly included Thor’s strength and invulnerability, in addition to his Mjolnir-hefting ability.
She still had Carol Danvers’ original powers too- she could fly on her own, etc. Thor’s strength and toughness were certainly greater that Ms. Marvel’s, but, as a practical matter, I can’t say whether they added together or whether she just got the greater of the two in those cases. Either way, she wasn’t exactly hurting

Maybe Rogue could also receive the Uni-power, get hit by gamma rays, get bitten by a radioactive spider, absorb Wonder Man’s powers, etc., and then her strength would be so unbelievably high she’d probably just lose containment and blow up the Earth.
