Don’t you know there is a little bit of Esprix in every gay guy;)

Just let Message Board Darwinism determine which shall survive. It’s just not a big deal and some of them are interesting. I can’t imagine it goads someone so much to see a thread title.
I have to agree with the Darwinism.
I started the “Ask the Montana Guy” thread because I was curious what questions people would have. The questions have been good, a number of former Montanan’s have got updated on some in-state issues they couldn’t pick up through the media. Other people were reminded of places they have been.
We Montana Dopers have also found out that there are far more Montanan’s on the boards than any of us thought were out there. Out total number is probably about 8, but we’re a lonely place. We may even try to meet up with each other some time. Before, I knew of only one Doper in my town, now several more have come out of the woodwork. May not seem like much in LA or NY, but were few and far between out here.
So ignore the “Ask the . . .” that you don’t like and realize that for some of us, it’s way to make contact. These threads may not be fighting your ignorance, but some of us learn from them (There are probably about 14 Muslims in my town, and I’m unlikely to run across them or ask questions.)
Whistlepig
Those are my thoughts exactly on the subject.
The only “Ask the…” thread I’ve ever even opened was “Ask the tall guy” I believe.
“Yep, you’re uh, tall. Wow.” pretty much sums it up and that was the end of my “Ask the…” thread viewing. I’ve never posted to one.
Well, seeing as many of them reach the several-page mark, it doesn’t seem to be stretching the truth to say that people are interested in the topics.
I don’t have gays, prison doctors, and paraplegics just hanging around the fucking house letting me ask them questions. But, hell, maybe that’s just me. I do lead a sheltered life.
